Potter County 4-H celebrated Pennsylvania 4-H Week

The Between March 13-19, 2022, Potter County 4-H celebrated Pennsylvania 4-H Week by decorating local business windows throughout the community. Six clubs in the community brightened the streets of Potter County towns by painting clovers, cutting out animal shapes, and using color to highlight 4-H presence in the county. Club displays showcased member project areas, upcoming events, and future club activities with a focus on PA 4-H Week.

Displays were judged on their design, workmanship, and originality. First Place was awarded to Potter Show Animals; Second Place to Seedsowers; Third Place to Showstoppers. The People's Choice award, given to the club with the most likes on the county Facebook page, was awarded to Showstoppers. Other clubs who participated included Famous Wabbits, Kountry Kids, and Growing Country Clovers.

Administered in Pennsylvania by Penn State Extension, 4-H is a community of more than 6 million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Penn State Extension 4-H youth development educators in all 67 counties throughout the commonwealth administer local 4-H programs through non-formal education and outreach.
