The Bullseye Blasters 4-H club has completed another successful season. The club members competed in the Central Region 4-H Pa. sporter class air rifle competition held at Jefferson County 3-26-2022. Each of the club members earned ribbons in the following categories: Individual - 8 to10 years old: Athena Hurley 3 rd ; 11 to 12 years old: Carson Heimel 3 rd and Bella Smith 4 th ; 13 to 15 years old: Ayden Reese 5 th ; 16 to 19 years old: Camden Bailey 2 nd . Teams - 11 to 12 years old: 2 nd place went to Carson Heimel, Bella Smith, Stacy Peffer, and Stella Peffer; 13 to 15 years old: 1 st place was taken by Cassidy Peffer, Ayden Reese, and Athena Hurley.
Brenna Bailey and Ayden Reese will be competing at State 4-H Shooting Sports contest on April 9th.
In the American Legion competition held 2-27-2022, the winners were 8 to 10 Boone Faulstick; 11 to 12 Carson Heimel; 13 to 15 Ayden Reese; 16 to 19 Camden Bailey; High score Brenna Bailey.
The club meets from October through March and training includes safety, range rules, self- discipline, and proper gun handling in three position competition. For information on club activities or membership contact the 4-H extension office at 814-274-8540
